CASEnergy Launches Jobs Initiative

On June 17, the CASEnergy Coalition kicked off thier new jobs intiative with a press conference at the National Press Club led by co-chair Christine Todd Whitman.  At the event CASE released a new white paper titled, Job Creation in the Nuclear Renaissancewhich catalogues the potential for tens of thousands of American jobs in the nuclear energy industry in the next decade. CASEnergy Launch in South Carolina

CASEnergy Co-Chair Christine Todd Whitman traveled to South Carolina to launch the CASEnergy Coalition on November 19th and 20th.
 
Whitman’s first stop was a speaking engagement at the University of South Carolina, School of Environment. Following the speech, CASEnergy held a reception for current and prospective members who are active in their communities and interested in the issues of clean and safe energy.  She then addressed students and faculty at the Strom Thurmond Institute of Government & Public Affairs at Clemson University. CASEnergy Co-Chair Christine Todd Whitman traveled to Illinois on October 11th to speak along side Governor Edgars at the University of Illinois’ Institute of Government and Public Affairs.  After concluding meetings with the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce and the Chicago Sun Times Editorial Board, Governor Whitman traveled to New Hampshire to speak at the Clean Air Cool Planet Conference on Global Warming Solutions on October 12.  Click here to learn more, view photos and read media coverage.

Whitman Speaks to Michigan Chamber of Commerce

CASEnergy Co-Chair Christine Todd Whitman traveled to Michigan to address the Michigan Chamber of Commerce Future Forum Conference. She spoke to about 300 guests including State legislators, business leaders and community members. Whitman stressed the need to make nuclear energy a part of Michigan’s future power source.  Click here to learn more.
 

Dr. Patrick Moore Visits Michigan

CASEnergy Attends the National Conference of State Legislators

CASEnergy Coalition's presence at National Conference of State Legislators '  (NCSL)  annual meeting this week has brought many new legislators on board to the coalition and raised awareness of nuclear energy among many others. Co-Chair Gov. Whitman Speaks to the Florida Economic Club

On May 30th, the CASEnergy Coalition hosted yet another great event in Tallahassee, FL.  On May 30th, co-chair Governor Christine Todd Whitman addressed the Florida Economic Club and spoke about nuclear power's role in helping us meet future energy needs.  Click here to read more.

CASEnergy Symposium on Capitol Hill

On May 15th CASEnergy held an event on Capitol Hill, which united diverse groups from government, unions, manufacturers, nuclear utilities and an important environmental organization to discuss our nation’s energy issues. The goal was to spread knowledge and help find solutions to our country’s rising energy demand. Speakers included Governor Whitman, Rep.
